Thompson Valley Disposal (TVD) is a Central BC–owned and operated waste and recycling service provider supporting industrial operations across the Thompson-Okanagan, Coastal, and Interior regions since 2004. With over two decades of experience, TVD delivers reliable, efficient, and environmentally responsible recycling and disposal solutions tailored to large-scale industrial requirements.
Our modern fleet of long-haul B-Train roll-off trailers, supported by an inventory of more than 100 waste bins, allows us to transport materials cost-effectively throughout BC and Alberta while maximizing payloads and reducing emissions. This specialized logistics capacity enables high-frequency service with fewer truck trips, lower fuel consumption, and a reduced greenhouse-gas footprint—providing measurable sustainability benefits for our clients.

Since 2021, Thompson Valley Services has been a licensed LT transporter of Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACM). Serving both private and public-sector clients, TVS provides safe, reliable, and efficient asbestos transportation and disposal services throughout Kamloops and beyond. By strictly following Ministry of Environment and WorkSafeBC regulations, we ensure full compliance and safety in every stage of asbestos handling. TVS has successfully transported and disposed of ACM for a diverse range of customers across BC.
Thompson Valley Services also operates specialized transport units capable of hauling bulk materials across Canada, including food-waste organics, asbestos-containing materials, mulch, decorative rock, soil, and compost.

As a locally owned and operated business based in Kamloops, Thompson Valley Services is committed to building respectful and meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities, while recognizing and honoring their rights and interests. TVS collaborates with Indigenous partners across the Thompson-Nicola Regional District through revenue-sharing and community give-back programs designed to support local economic participation.
These partnerships are grounded in shared values and a joint commitment to delivering sustainable, community-focused waste-management solutions. Together, we support industries, municipalities, and residents with services centered on waste collection, transportation, diversion, and recycling—creating long-term environmental and economic benefits.

TVD and the SEDC celebrate their partnership in Waste Management.

Each year, TVS transports and disposes of more than 15,000 metric tonnes of household waste, construction debris, recyclables, wood waste, asphalt, concrete, hazardous materials, and other source-separated materials to municipal and private landfills and recycling facilities throughout the Thompson-Nicola Regional District. We work closely with customers to promote proper recycling practices, including the separation of recoverable materials from general waste.
TVS’ long-term objective is to reduce methane generation at landfills by diverting recyclable and recoverable materials from disposal. We are proud to play a key role in keeping our communities clean while supporting transparent, responsible waste-management practices.
